I was always taught it was okay to fail at something as long as you are able to learn your lesson and do better next time. You would think this would be the same in looking for a job. However, this is not the case.
The problem with failing in your search for a job is the fact that you are rarely going to get feedback and be told that it was your cover letter, resume, or interviewing skills for you not being hired. And what is worse, you are NEVER going to be told it was because of a bad reference.
You will probably be told it was because they chose to hire internally, or they have closed the position, or some other lie so they don't have to deal with telling you the harsh truth. As such, you won't know what you need to change. This is unacceptable.
You must be sure that your references are the best and not gamble on them actually making you look good to the company you are trying to hire with.

Knowledge is power, and you need to know that your references have your back.
By making sure your references are your strongest link you increase the chances of getting your dream job. Unfortunately, the only way you can know you have good references is to have them tested.
We will call your references and probe them to test if they are going to make sure you will look bad and cost you the job. We will then give you a report telling you about what they said and the tone in which they said it. We will then make a recommendation as to whether or not you should keep them as a reference.
